Developing independent scientists

Mentoring combines regular one-on-one guidance with increasing intellectual independence. Projects span mechanics, controlled and natural field experiments, dense sensing, data analysis, writing, and scientific communication, with explicit attention to research ethics, authorship, reproducibility, and career development.
